Revenue and $TAU
Tausen earns from fees on results, withdrawals and pool openings. Half of it goes to the team and half to buying back $TAU.
Where revenue comes from
| Source | Amount | Team | $TAU buyback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Win fee | 1% of profit paid | 50% | 50% |
| Loss fee | 1% of every loss | 50% | 50% |
| Withdrawal fee | 1 USDC | 50% | 50% |
| Pool opening | 50 of the 100 USDC | 25 USDC | 25 USDC |
| Expired pool request | Everything it raised | — | 100%, bought back and burned |
| Dev wallet opening | None: all 25 USDC seed the pool | — | — |
Fees are taken only when money actually moves: a win fee when profit is paid into a balance, a withdrawal fee when the transfer is sent. The daily total is on the Activity page.
What the team’s half is for
The team’s share is used to support and grow Tausen: building and improving the product, running it (servers, Solana and data costs), security work such as audits, marketing and advertising, and the community.
The $TAU half
The other half goes to buying back $TAU. What an expired pool request raised goes entirely to buying back and burning $TAU.
