Pools
Payout pools
Every token has its own payout pool. Losses on that token fill it, and only that token’s winners are paid from it.
Isolated by design
A pool belongs to one token. What traders lose on $ABC goes into $ABC’s pool, and $ABC’s winners are paid from it, nothing else. If a token is manipulated or collapses, the damage stays in that token’s pool: it can’t reach the money behind other markets.
What fills a pool
- Its starting balance when the market opens: 50 USDC of a 100 USDC opening (or the whole 25 USDC of a dev wallet’s opening).
- 99% of every loss on the token, liquidations included. The other 1% is the loss fee.
What a pool pays
Only profits: the settled gain of winning closes on that token. Collateral never depends on a pool; it is always returned at once.
A market shows its pool as Payout pool. When a winner’s profit is larger than the pool, the pool pays what it has and the rest waits in the payout queue, paid as new losses come in.
