Pools
Opening a pool
Anyone can open a market for a token that meets the listing rules: alone for 100 USDC, or together with others.
Check the token
On the Pools page, paste a token’s mint address. Tausen checks each rule separately and shows the result: bonding curve finished, canonical PumpSwap pool found, market cap of at least $100K (with its liquidity beside it), not listed yet. See Markets.
Open it together
- Anyone starts a request for the token with a first contribution of at least 1 USDC.
- Anyone can chip in, at least 1 USDC each. Only what is still missing is taken.
- As soon as 100 USDC is raised, the market opens. Putting in the whole 100 at once opens it immediately.
| Where the 100 USDC goes | |
|---|---|
| Starting balance of the token’s payout pool | 50 USDC |
| Team | 25 USDC |
| $TAU buyback | 25 USDC |
- Contributions leave your balance when you make them. Each token has at most one open request.
- A request has 48 hours. If it isn’t full by then, it expires and what it raised goes to the $TAU buyback and burn. It is not refunded.
- Refunds happen only when a request fills but the market can’t open: the token no longer meets the rules, or someone opened it first. Each contribution then goes back to its balance.
Dev wallets
Wallets the team designates as dev wallets can open a market alone for 25 USDC. All 25 go into the new pool as its starting balance; nothing is kept as a fee.
After it opens
The market appears on the Markets page within seconds. Its price starts after a short warm-up (about a second), and it uses the current settlement parameters.
