Getting started
Quick start
From an empty wallet to your first closed trade, step by step.
1. Connect your wallet
Press Connect wallet at the top right and pick your wallet. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack work, as does any Solana wallet that supports signing messages. Your wallet asks you to sign a short message; that proves the address is yours and signs you in for 7 days. It costs nothing and can’t move funds.
2. Deposit USDC
Press Add next to your balance, or open Portfolio and the Deposit tab. Enter an amount (at least 1 USDC) and press the button. Your wallet asks you to approve a USDC transfer; once Solana confirms it, the amount is in your Tausen balance, usually within seconds. The network fee is about 0.000005 SOL, so keep a little SOL in the wallet.
3. Choose a market
Open Markets, or press / anywhere to search by name, symbol or mint. Each market shows its price, 24h change, Tausen volume, market cap, the liquidity of its PumpSwap pool and its payout pool. The first time you open a market you’ll see a short risk warning.
4. Open a position
- Choose Long (you win if the price rises) or Short (you win if it falls).
- Enter your collateral in USDC, or use ½×, 2× or Max.
- Set the leverage with the slider or the 2×, 5×, 10× buttons.
- Check the lines under it: position size, entry price, liquidation price and fees.
- Press Open long or Open short. The position opens at once at the price on screen.
5. Follow it
Your position appears in the Positions panel under the chart with its PnL, and its entry and liquidation prices are drawn on the chart. A winning position younger than 30 seconds shows full profit in N s: close before then and you keep only part of the gain (see Profit settlement).
6. Close it
Press Close. Your collateral comes back to your balance at once. A profit is paid from the token’s pool, normally at the same moment; if the pool is short, it waits in the payout queue. A loss goes to the pool.
7. Withdraw
In Portfolio, open Withdraw, enter an amount and confirm. The USDC is sent to the wallet you signed in with, less a 1 USDC fee, usually within seconds.
