Trading
Fees
Tausen takes a small share of results, not of trading. There is no fee to open or close, no spread and no funding.
Every fee
| Fee | How much | When |
|---|---|---|
| Win fee | 1% of the profit paid | Each time profit is paid into your balance; on each part if paid through the queue. |
| Loss fee | 1% of the loss | When a losing position closes or is liquidated. It comes out of the loss: you lose the same amount. |
| Withdrawal fee | 1 USDC | Taken from each withdrawal: withdrawing 10 USDC sends 9. |
| Opening a pool | 100 USDC (25 for dev wallets) | Once, when a token’s market is opened. See Opening a pool. |
No fee on
- opening or closing a position, or its size,
- the price (no spread: you fill at the price on screen),
- holding a position (no funding, no borrowing cost),
- deposits (you pay only Solana’s network fee, about 0.000005 SOL).
Where fees go
Every fee is split 50/50 between the team and the $TAU buyback, with two exceptions: a crowdfunded pool request that expires goes entirely to the buyback, and a dev wallet’s 25 USDC pool opening goes entirely into the new pool. See Revenue and $TAU.
Rounding
Amounts are kept to the micro-USDC (six decimals). Losses round up and profits round down to the micro-USDC; any odd micro-unit of a fee goes to the buyback.
